Team Members screen

The Team Members screen shows everyone who can access your business in the app and lets you control what each person can do. It is only available to the team owner — managers and staff see it neither in the menu nor by direct link.

Opening the screen

From the dashboard, open the menu and tap Manage Users. The screen lists every member with their name, email address, phone number (when one is set), and a badge showing their role.

Roles

Every team has exactly one owner. The owner is set when the business is created and cannot be demoted or removed from the app.

Adding a team member

1. Tap Add Member at the bottom of the screen.
2. Enter the person's email address.
3. Choose a role — Manager or Staff.
4. Tap Add Member.

The person is added to your team immediately. They don't receive an invitation — they just need to have a Spotless Score account with the same email address. Their name and phone number come from their existing account, so you don't enter them yourself.

What if the email has no account?

If there's no Spotless Score account for the email address you entered, the app shows a "No Spotless account found for this email" message and the person is not added. Ask them to create an account first, then try again.

Adding someone who is already a member

If you try to add someone who is already on your team, the app tells you they're already a team member and nothing changes.

Changing a member's role

1. Tap the pencil icon next to a member.
2. Pick the new role — Owner, Manager, or Staff.
3. Tap Save Changes.

Because every team needs exactly one owner, you can't promote someone to Owner while an Owner already exists. The Owner option is disabled with an explanation. The Owner's own role can't be changed at all.

Removing a team member

Tap the trash icon next to a member. The app asks you to confirm before removing them. The owner has no trash icon — the team owner can't be removed.
