Location Settings
Your opening days tell Spotless Score when your location operates. Daily checks are only scheduled on days you're open, so your checklist never fills up with work on days you're closed.
Choosing opening days for a new location
When you set up a new location, an Opening Days step appears after you confirm your business details. All seven days start switched on — switch off the days you're closed, then continue. You can skip this step; if you do, your location is treated as open all seven days.
Changing opening days later
- Open the Menu from the home screen.
- Select Location Settings.
- Check the location name shown at the top of the screen.
The seven days appear Monday first. A switch that's on means the location is open that day. Owners and managers can turn days on or off. Turning a day on saves immediately. Turning a day off asks you to confirm first — the confirmation explains that checks for that day will stop being scheduled.
What changes when you close a day
- Daily and twice-daily checks stop — from then on, no new checks are generated for that day, so nothing appears on your checklist.
- Outstanding checks are removed — any daily or twice-daily checks for that day that haven't been completed yet are taken off your checklist. Completed and skipped checks stay in your history.
- Weekly and monthly checks are unaffected — weekly, twice-weekly, monthly, twice-monthly, and quarterly checks keep their fixed dates even if the location is closed that day.
Rules to know
- A location must stay open at least one day, so the last remaining day can't be switched off.
- Staff members can view opening days but can't change them — ask an owner or manager.
- Each location has its own opening days. Changing one location doesn't affect your others.
